Regenerative agriculture rebuilds soil carbon, water retention, and biodiversity. It is a practice, not a product. Groundswell, the new documentary narrated by Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson, follows farmers who are proving that soil can be restored at scale. Big agri would argue that one cannot feed the planets growing population without chemical fertilisers (much of which is stuck in the Straits of Hormuz). The film argues that the transition to regenerative practices is not only possible but necessary. We are watching closely because the carbon markets, food chains, and farm economics that will reward this work are still being built.
